1. Translator tool allows selecting one of the 31 raags from Sri Guru Granth Sahib and the scale (such as C#, D#, A#, and so on) and it shows Aaroh and Avroh of that raag in the selected scale.
2. For a given phrase, this tool can generate random sequences of notes in selected jaati (for example, 3-3-2 or 4-4 for a given phrase of 8 notes).
3. This initial release includes 7 tools: Translator, Notes2Raag, Raag Quest, Ear Training, Sur Abhyas, Alankars, and Layakari.
4. Alankars tool can be used to build and practice alankars based on the notes selected.
5. Notes2Raag tool shows the raags that make use of provided three or more notes.
6. Sur Abhyas tool allows generating random sequences of notes/phrases provided.
7. Layakaari tool allows practicing the concepts taal jaatis and chhands.
8. GSRIyaz is an app built by GSRI (Gurmat Sangeet Research Internship) 2023 Intern Ishmeet Singh from Texas.
9. This is useful for instrument tuning or for quick reference of notes in the raag.
