1. The Nature Center features an interactive Exhibit and Art Gallery, an indoor lounge perfect for picnicking, an Auditorium showcasing brief movies about the Park, a Nature Store, Administration, and Restrooms.

2. Wetlands Park is a 2,900-acre natural area containing both common and rare habitats in the Mojave Desert, including aquatic wetlands and riparian woodlands.

3. Over 30 miles of trails for hikers, cyclists, and equestrians crisscross the Park and entice visitors to discover something new about the region.

4. This app was created in partnership with the Wetlands Park Friends, the non-profit organization that supports Wetlands Park programs and activities.

5. With over 300 species of birds and 70 species of mammals and other wildlife, the Park is a hotspot for birders and animal enthusiasts of all kinds.

6. Tours and Park content are available in English, Spanish, and Tagalog.

7. Six trailheads provide access to multi-use trails for hikers, cyclists, and equestrians.

8. Funding was provided by REI Co-op through their community grant program that encourages everyone to enjoy the outdoors.

9. Many paved trails are ADA accessible.
