Smooth but can be better
The app works not perfect but pretty well. Sometimes takes lots of battery (iPhone 6s), maybe that could be better. Also an ad banner feels big on 6s but it’s understandable to have it, you need to pay for the servers, so that’s not an issue, just a fact. But besides that the app is great and brings me whole Pixiv web experience on mobile.

iPad version needs to be improved
App crashes regularly. Images have very low resolution in comparison to website. Interface isn’t adapted for iPad.
