1. ScamShield is built by Open Government Products, in collaboration with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC).
2. ScamShield protects you by blocking scam calls, filtering scam SMSes, and letting you check suspicious messages before clicking anything regrettable.
3. - Follow our quick setup guide to block known scam numbers and filter out sketchy messages.
4. - Came across a suspicious link, message, or phone number? Paste it in to see if it might be a scam.
5. Heads up: Submitting a scam report in the app isn't the same as filing an official police report.
6. The prompt to refresh will appear when you open the app, and does not require you to visit the App Store to update to the latest version.
7. If you've been scammed, please file an e-report with the Singapore Police Force.
8. - When the authorities mark a number you reported as possibly used by scammers, we’ll send you a push notification.
9. We may occasionally prompt you to refresh the ScamShield app, which helps with performance and security.
10. You can also view a history of numbers you reported that have been marked as scam-related.
