The app is a must, not only for pros, but as an educational tool for learning the basics of westcoast and fm-synthesis. The interface is pretty basic, but the limitations only help to unleash the full power of semi-modular approach to synthesis (however, the additional mixer and/or the ability to use external audio input as a source might be a killer move — I will be more than happy to purchase it as an in-app). This is NOT your basic all-in-one synthmonster, but a gateway to generative, wild, unpredictable modular heaven. ------- The only pain in the ass is the tempo buttons in the sequencer. TAP TEMPO PLEASE. Or at least a decent slider. It's just messing up with the workflow, I'm feeling like forever stuck around 60–100, cause tapping for more is soooo sloooooow.
